Twin Coast Metrology designed and built a system for 3D Dimensional Inspection of Large Composite Panels for a customer who needed to perform 100% measurement of very large composite panels. The parts needed to be measured quickly and without surface preparation. The system needed to work in the production line.
The delivered system uses 2 cameras, a rotary table, XY stage, and 2 projectors. It has its own enclosure to isolate the system from its environment. Twin Coast Metrology also handled the part programming and AS9102 reports.
